A New Jewish School in Gibraltar – From Vision to Reality

After two years of PaJeS Chidush Lead Esther Colman working closely with Atara Re’em Kenigsberg, director of Strategic Innovation at UnitEd Jewish Education, the Hebrew Primary School in Gibraltar has been successfully established – offering exceptional Jewish and secular education to the community.
A dedicated team under the guidance of Yvonne Baron, Chidush consultant, together with outstanding governors led by Josh Wine and Headteacher par excellence Chaya Posen, the Gibraltar community has been given not just a school with first class Jewish and secular education but also a future. This includes a structured system built from the ground up, including a well-thought-out curriculum and a strong code of conduct.
The recruitment of an outstanding deputy head, Robert J Azopardi, head of Kodesh, Simha Belilo and incredible teachers to shape the next generation. The children have embraced their new school and are thriving in an environment built on the values of courage, kavod, and kindness.
A huge kol hakavod to everyone who is playing a role in making this dream a reality!
